Spiritual Reflections
To question oneself, one’s decisions or path is a natural
thing to do. In fact, if we don’t question our decisions and actions, we could
well be setting ourselves up for a fall, (or appear too arrogant, maybe!)
However, when a person questions everything, and/or cannot make a decision,
they may have trust issues—with themselves.
Trust is a word I use a lot for the work I do, because if I
didn’t trust in my connection and the answers I receive, I may as well down
tools and go home! For anything we do, whether it be our work, our hobbies, our
spiritual practices or our lifestyle, belief and trust in ourselves that we are
where we need to be is paramount to keep us feeling aligned.
But what happens if we are too trusting of other people? It
is hard to think that our fellow humans would like to do us wrong, but, with so
many scams around now, it is more important than ever to be wary and
mistrusting of anything that sounds too good to be true.
Just recently, I was contacted by a woman calling herself a
Book Placement Expert’ , lavishing praise on my fourth book and saying it would
be a perfect fit for book clubs. Now, I have received countless emails over the
years, but this one sounded genuine, so I replied. I really do need to promote
my book(s), and I wanted to believe, very badly, that she was not a scammer.
Over the course of a week or so, I asked a lot of questions, which she answered
with grace, continuing to lavish praise on the book. Finally, I blocked her.
Why? Here are the signs that I couldn’t ignore.
· I couldn’t find a profile for
her anywhere, nor for the company she said she worked for.
· She was more than happy to
overcharge me, but then adjust the price to match another offer I had had.
· I can easily do what she was
offering to do for nothing.
· I have since received at least
six emails from other people wanting to promote two of my other books in the
same way.
· The praise she lavished was unnecessary and over-exaggerated—one of the signs of scammers.
In the end, I had to override my ‘wants’ and trust my
instinct that this person was not who she said she was. I had to trust my
mistrust!
So, I urge all of you to do the same. Trust the red flags of
your intuition and always go with your gut.

Trust is a Spiritual Attitude

As a woman, I find trust as a daily practice is the most
powerful catalyst for transformation, insight, and purification of my limited
ego structure. In general, I feel one of the strongest spiritual places a human
can step into is the capacity to trust and find a space where we can meet
vulnerability with joy.
Trust is deep. To truly trust is to be willingly susceptible.
We are all, always, susceptible to what will happen next. In fact, the great
human discontent is that we can’t personally control outcomes. Being willingly
susceptible is an inner attitude and an approach in the present moment. It is a
divine act that is more than a mere letting go, but a deliberate openness to
potentiality. Pain, victory, abuse, and/or death are all indeed waiting on the
other side of this moment.
Trust is a spiritual attitude. Here we don’t use the word
“spiritual” to connote spirits or higher levels of vibrations. Spiritual refers
here to the “Self” or the One Witness
Consciousness behind all eyes and experiences. What we really are as
our transcendent nature. So how does trust relate to spirituality? It is an act
of affirming that I am not just this experience. I am not just this body that
may get hurt. I am not the emotions, lifestyle, or carefully constructed
relationships or careers. Trust implies I am in no danger because I am none of
these. It is a doorway to the higher self—the background of Stillness.
When we bring in an attitude of trust (which is similar to
letting go) we allow ourselves to embrace the spontaneity of the moment. We
open to Lakshmi, or the universal energy of abundance, we open to God and the
background of love. When we bring trust into our relationships, we give others
room to grow and meet us in this realm of spontaneity, openness, and
abundance—the Spiritual
Heart.
Trust can be hard. It is unlimited and challenges our
individual limitations. However, it is the beautiful means and the end, so
there is no harm done by inviting this energy into our meditation practice as
well as our lives and our relationships. Remember, trust is not a means to
guarantee results, it is an invitation to move beyond results. It wouldn’t be
called trust if the results were guaranteed.

Faith is Akin to Trust
To many, the word ‘faith’ is aligned to God and the doctrine
associated with religion. This is not to be maligned, because holding faith in
a deity or source of love, such as Jesus, has helped many people on Earth to
come back from the brink of despair, addiction and disconnection from society.
In fact, disconnection in general is the single most devastating state that a
human can suffer from, leading them to feel they don’t belong, are not good
enough and lost in every sense of the word.
To have faith in something or someone is to hold the belief
that they are true, worthy and of value. The word ‘faith’, then, is synonymous
with the word ‘trust’, because if you have faith then you also trust that your
faith is well founded and will be upheld. The sad fact is that, while many
people put their trust and faith in God, they don’t believe in themselves and
leave all major decisions up to the Will of God, rather than trusting in
themselves as creators in their own right. So many people live with insecurities
about themselves and fail to see that the most important person that they need
to love, trust, have faith and believe in is themselves.
Lack of self-love and belief can cause many people to look
outside of themselves for validation and love. If you cannot fill your own
emotional cup, then your need for love and attention is most likely to drain
other peoples’ cups! When people rely on their friends and loved ones for love
and support because they cannot give it to themselves it can lead to failed
relationships and friendships falling away. Sadly, many people never face their
own demons and find themselves socially outcast simply because they always put
their needs above others.
In a way, putting your faith in Jesus or God without
believing in yourself, while filling your cup for a while, is still a default
setting and a smokescreen hiding your deeper insecurities. In the energy of
oneness and unconditional love, there is no separation from God, the ethereal
kingdom, humans and each other. This means that all humans are infinitely
connected to the light of the Source of Creation and are therefore co-creators
and beings of love, which is why feeling disconnection to the faith and belief
in God the Creator, within or without religion, is so devastating to the soul.
Do you believe in yourself? Can you honestly say you love and
accept yourself? If someone were to put their faith and trust in you, would you
shy away or embrace the challenge?
If you are having trouble believing in anything in your life,
look no further than in your own heart. Connect to the light within and begin
the work of restoring faith in yourself as a person, being of light and a soul
who is loved eternally by the source of all creation.

What's Blocking You?
Are you experiencing difficulties with meditation or

The blockages to your connection with the Divine are
blockages of the mind. The greatest and most powerful word I can give you is
‘Trust’: feel, see and hear with your heart, not your mind and know that you
have everything you need to know within you. Be patient with yourself as you
grow but allow your guides to lead you on the path your soul has chosen to

answered in the highest and best way.
Fear is the greatest blockage of all. It stops you from
reaching your potential and it changes the balance of power between you and
whatever is blocking you. When you allow fear to take over, you give your power
away. To do this is the greatest sacrifice and one that could change your path
from that which is intended and right to one of compromise and lost
opportunity. Do not allow fear to stop you from achieving what you have set out
to do or allow others to manipulate you through fear either. When you stand in
your power and trust your connection to me, God the Creator, you unblock your
access to your higher self and the Universal Mind, bringing you into a state of
Divine Flow and Oneness with the all.
Love is the greatest unblocker. When you come from a place of
love in every situation you set yourself free. This freedom will set you onto
your path; the one you chose in communion with me. Continue to ask me for
guidance and you will move forward with grace and fulfilment.

What is Ascension?
What is Ascension, and how does one know they have ascended?
Is it an easy thing to do, and how are people living on the planet, given that
it ‘ascended’ in 2012?
All very good questions, and the best answer is that no
person living on Earth can be truly, 100% ascended because they are in a human
body. Ascension happens after death, when the soul reviews their lessons in
that lifetime and reconciles it all within the soul family.
Earth Ascended because ‘Gaia’ is a Master and because the
spiritual age of awakening has been grounded into the master plan for Earth and
mankind. Agreements made in the energy of goodwill by masters of the New Age
are well in place, but the uptake for humankind has been slower than
anticipated. That is because the density of the Third Dimension has increased,
making keeping ones consciousness above the human collective consciousness much
more difficult for those still in the early stages of awakening. The resulting
flux of emotions increases the levels within dimensions of consciousness,
meaning that the lost will become more lost, the forlorn will enter into
hopelessness and power will remain with those without scruples. It takes
diligence and a strong connection to the Source of Creation for one to stay in
an upper fourth or fifth dimensional state.
Wayshowers and lightworkers are multiplying on the planet,
but still it is not enough. Awareness is the key, but the veils of illusion and
multiple dark matrixes are making ascension difficult for many. Stay focused
and positive, dear hearts, because the light will always overcome the darkness.
We include a list that may help those of you feeling stuck to overcome the
obstacles of the Third Dimension in order to begin rising above fear, illusion
and hardship.
Let go of fear, as it will only block you;
Look beyond the limitations of belief systems to enable
possibilities, no matter how far-fetched they may seem;
Consider your thoughts and whether they are creating a
reality that is positive and open, or negative and closed.
Break ties with those who wish to bring you down or who
choose not to believe in you;
Break ties with the past and do anything positive that can
help you to let go, forgive and to make peace;
Connect with your angel guides and ask for help and guidance;
Stay informed but not immersed in politics, world news and
other people’s affairs;
Remember that people must choose their own path, so reserve
any judgement and refrain from gossip;
Set positive affirmations and keep your energies as clear and
as grounded as possible;
Be grateful for what you have. Feelings of abundance will
attract more of the same.
You are the only person who can change your outlook, your
perspective and your situation. The Universe will work with you, not matter
what you are projecting. Make sure it empowers, not disempowers you! The more
you work on your belief systems, your thoughts and projections, the higher your
consciousness will be, opening you up to possibilities and opportunities that
you once thought impossible. That is how Ascension works – one person at a
time! The ripple effects, however, are more powerful than you can imagine.
We ARE the masters of the Cosmic Council.

Quick Grounding Technique
Sitting or standing, take a breath in and envision a ball of
light on your crown at the top of your head. Now, breathing out, bring the
light in a straight line down through the middle of our body, holding the
intention of aligning your chakras. Bring the light back up and send it down
again, this time holding the intention of balancing your chakras. Bring it back
up and send it back down, this time to clear the day and all energies no longer
serving you from your chakras.
Now to clear your aura, breathing in to bring the light up to
our crown and then breathing light into our auras, washing all the way down
your body to the ground. Bring it back up and breathe light into your aura
again, holding the intention of repairing any tears or holes. Hold it there
without breathing for three seconds, then, taking another breath in, breathe
out and send the light down your body again and send it into the ground. Hold
it there for three seconds then breathe normally. You are now grounded and your
aura is protected for the day.
